Paris was born on 1975 in Limassol. In the year 2000 and at the age of 25 he began his yoga journey, a friend introduce him to a hatha yoga class that would forever change his life and he with his turn change the life of many others by inspire them to practice yoga. After his first yoga class Paris was so amazed by how the practice makes him feel so he begins his research of that beautiful practice.
At this time in Cyprus was not so much going on with yoga as it’s just a little island, just some classes in sport centers that was emphasise mostly on stretching. At first he started study from a book the Light on Yoga by B.K.S Iyengar and he used to do his practice in a forest by the beach in the afternoons. One day a friend of him saw him doing his afternoon practice. His friend very impressed from the postures asked him if he can join him and teach him too. Paris tell his friend if you really want to practice you come here everyday at 6 and I can show you what ever I know. And so they begin practicing together. Slowly even more people start to join the afternoon yoga practice that continue for the next three years. This was the beginning of a beautiful journey in the world of yoga, and self development.
In 2009 Paris decide to move on deeper in to Yoga journey so he took his first 200 hours teacher training course in Athens by YogaWorks and trained by Anna Zorzou and Edwin Bergman, in the same year Paris return to Cyprus and open his yoga shala, he name it Vinyasa Yoga Studio. For the next few years Paris have been spreading yoga and inspires hundreds of people around the island in to the yoga path and healthy life style. In 2011 he decides to take an Ashtanga Yoga training so he went to Berlin to meet David Swenson were he studies and practice intensively the primary series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Returning back to Cyprus he continues his daily practice and dedications to his teachings. At 2013 in one of his trips he meets Kristina Karitinos in Crete and take Mysore classes in her shala, in the same year Paris attend Kristina 2nd series of Ashtanga Training in Athens. His love for yoga and his thirst for learning more about Ashtanga didn’t stop there but take him back to Crete where he meets Manju Pattabhi Jois, the oldest son of Pattabhi Jois, who is recognised worldwide as the world wise respected authority on Ashtanga Yoga. Paris is about to explore the ancient system direct from the source! A leaving Sanskrit, Asana, Pranayama, Philosophy and Vedic chanting has given now a different colour to the practice, a leaving tradition began to unfold. Paris knew from the first moment that he meet his teacher, so he decides to continue his studies with Manju in different countries around Europe up to now. Paris have invite many teachers to his studio for workshops and teacher trainings among those was Anna Zorzou, Kristina Karitinos and Danny Paradise. Paris placing his own little stone in the yoga world and his mission is to build the yoga community in Cyprus by teaching and sharing his knowledge, life experience and love for yoga with practitioners and teachers around the island, his dream is to pass the correct method of this ancient tradition to the yoga world in Cyprus. He follow his teachers teachings, his own experience and knowledge to create a yoga class suitable for everyone and any level of practitioners. Paris teaches private Classes, groups, workshops and hold his own teacher training programme.
